November 14, 2020 by

Hope Valley, CA is one of our favorite places to camp in the Sierras. Most sites are to the right (east) once in the area. Hope Valley is not only a picture perfect place to camp, it is situated in an area that has something to offer everyone. There is a hole in the ground for doing your business and no running water. Bring your mountain bike, dirt bike, and/or your horses for exploring along the numerous canal roads and trails., or on the semi-groomed motocross track. There can be many people here and spread out. This location would be great for a couple or a small group of friends. The site was great for kids. There was a locked gate and sign stating "no motorized vehicles" on 05/18/20.
